The Carolina Panthers are bringing in three free agents for visits this week, according to Aaron Wilson.
The full list of players who are visiting includes:
- DT Myles Adams
- DE Jamal Davis
- DE Jonathan Wynn
Davis, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Akron back in 2019. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Texans, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Davis later had brief stints with the Colts, Titans, and Dolphins before being claimed off waivers by the Packers in April. The team eventually opted to let Davis go prior to the 2020 season.
During his college career at Akron and Pittsburgh, Davis recorded 150 tackles, 7.5 sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles, and six passes defended over the course of 29 games.
Wynn, 26, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent back in 2018 out of Vanderbilt. He had a brief stint on Minnesota’s practice squad before joining the Lions’ taxi squad as a rookie.
From there, Wynn was on and off Detroit’s practice squad before eventually being promoted in December of last year. The Lions cut him loose in August and he had another short stint on their practice squad.
In 2019, Wynn appeared in one game for the Lions and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
