The Carolina Panthers hosted veteran G Jonathan Cooper for a visit on Thursday, according to Field Yates.
Cooper, 29, is a former first-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. Arizona traded him to the Patriots as part of the Chandler Jones‘ deal, but New England declined to pick up his fifth-year option and later cut him loose in 2016.
From there, Cooper had brief stints with the Browns, Cowboys, 49ers and Redskins before the Raiders signed him to a contract this past July. Unfortately, he was recently released by the Raiders.
In 2019, Cooper appeared in three games for the Redskins.
