Panthers LT Byron Bell officially signed his restricted tender on Monday, according to the NFL’s transactions release.
Bell was one of the few remaining restricted free agents who had yet to sign their tenders. He’ll make $2.187 million for the 2014 season under this deal.
Carolina is obviously very thin in terms of their offensive line depth, so Bell figures to be in a great position to see plenty of playing time next year.
Last season, he appeared in all 16 games for the Panthers at right tackle, but was rated as the No. 52 tackle in the league, according to Pro Football Focus.
