The Carolina Panthers announced Thursday that they’ve placed G Brendan Mahon on injured reserve with a concussion and promoted G Taylor Hearn to their active roster.
Mahon, 23, wound up signing on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with Carolina and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Mahon appeared in two games for the Panthers.
