Joe Person tweets that Panther RB Jonathan Stewart was held out of another practice on Thursday.
Person adds that the team is preparing as if Stewart will not be part of their gameplan for this weekends game against the Buccaneers.
Stewart’s dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered towards the end of the preseason, and while it’s not believed to be anything serious, his status for Sunday seems doubtful at this point. The Panthers will most likely prepare DeAngelo Williams to handle the bulk of the team’s carries, so he should be on the fantasy radar this weekend.
