Patriots Officially Cut 20 Players Including WR Aaron Dobson

The New England Patriots have begun the process of trimming their roster down to 53 players. Here’s the list of roster cuts up to this point:

  14. RB Joey Iosefa
  15. LB Kevin Snyder
  16. DL Woodrow Hamilton
  17. LB Kamu Grugier-Hill
  18. CB Cre’von LeBlanc
  19. WR Devin Lucien
  20. TE Bryce Williams

Dobson, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2013. He is in the final year of his four-year, $3.428 million rookie contract that included $1.173 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $872,505 in 2016.

In 2015, Dobson appeared in eight games and caught 13 passes for 141 yards receiving and no touchdowns.


LeBlanc, 22, wound up signing on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract and was set to make a 2016 base salary of $450,000.
