Patriots CB Joejuan Williams Arrested For Drug Possession

According to News Channel 5 in Nashville, Patriots CB Joejuan Williams was arrested and charged last week for drug possession on January 17.

The report says Williams was stopped by Tennessee Highway Patrol for speeding and troopers later found an unnamed controlled substance, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia in his car.

Williams is now facing charges for speeding, possession of a controlled substance, possession of legend drugs without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Williams, 22, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2019. New England traded up with the Rams to select him and exchanged their No. 56 and No. 101 overall picks.

Williams is in the second year of his four-year, $6,782,618 rookie contract that included a $2,952,812 signing bonus.

In 2019, Williams appeared in nine games and recorded five tackles, no interceptions and a pass defended.
