According to Ian Rapoport, Duke QB Daniel Jones is visiting with the Patriots today.
Rapoport says the Patriots are also hosting West Virginia QB Will Grier.
The Patriots hold the No. 32 overall pick. Jones is not expected to be available, but Rapoport says the team has the ammunition to trade up if they like Jones.
Grier has come up as someone to watch in terms of possibly being a late first- or early second-round pick and could be in play for the Patriots at the end of the first round.
Grier actually began his college career at Florida before transferring to West Virginia in time for the 2017 season.
For his career, Grier threw for 8,556 while completing 65.7 percent of his passes to go along with 81 touchdowns and 23 interceptions over the course of three seasons and 28 games played.
Jones, 21, is seen as a likely a first-round pick in this year’s draft after being coached up under Duke HC David Cutcliffe, who also worked with both Manning brothers.
During his college career at Duke, Jones threw for, 8,201 yards while completing 59.9 percent of his passes to go along with 52 touchdowns and 29 interceptions over the course of 36 games and three seasons.
