Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) said he will play in Week 8’s Monday Night game.
“It’s going to be nuts. Hands down… I’m from Buffalo, they’re going to be starting early… it’s going to be popping. Straight popping,” said Gronkowski, via Mark Daniels.

Patriots QB Tom Brady praised recently acquired WR Josh Gordon‘s ability to quickly learn the team’s offense and gain his trust.
“The wide receiver position in our offense takes years for most guys to understand and learn nuances & intricacies of not only our plays, but how to get open within the scheme, how to gain my trust, and he’s done it in such a short period of time,” said Brady, via Michael Giardi of NFL Network.
