The New England Patriots officially placed OT Trent Brown and OLB Kyle Van Noy on the PUP list Tuesday.
Brown, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2015. He was traded to the Patriots in 2018 in a pick swap.
Brown played out the final year of his four-year, $2.28 million contract before agreeing to a record four-year, $66 million deal that includes $36.75 million guaranteed with the Raiders in 2019.
Las Vegas traded Brown back to the Patriots this past March.
In 2020, Brown appeared in five games for the Raiders and made five starts at right tackle.
Van Noy, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Lions back in 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $5.1 million contract when the Lions traded Van Noy midseason to the Patriots for a sixth-round pick in 2016.
Van Noy later signed a two-year extension with the Patriots. After finishing out that contract, he agreed to a four-year, $51 million contract with the Dolphins in 2020.
However, the Dolphins release Van Noy in March and he later returned to the Patriots.
In 2020, Van Noy appeared in 14 games for the Dolphins and recorded 69 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, two recoveries and six pass defenses.
