Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots have re-signed FB Glenn Gronkowski to a contract on Tuesday.
Gronkowski, 23, wound up signing on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in May of last year. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was waived just a few weeks later.
The Patriots later signed him to their practice squd and he was on and off of the unit for most of the season.
During his three-year college career, Gronkowski totaled 51 rushing yards on 16 carries (3.2 YPC) to go along with 15 receptions for 369 yards receiving and six total touchdowns.
