Tom Curran of CSN New England reports that the Patriots have re-signed rookie TE Justin Jones on Sunday.
Jones, 22, signed with Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in May, but he was later placed on waivers a week ago following the addition TEs Ben Hartsock, Steve Maneri and Terrence Miller.
During his three-year college career, Jones caught 52 passes for 598 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns.
