Mike Garafolo reports that the Patriots are signing WR Maurice Harris to a contract on Thursday.
Harris, 26, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of California back in 2016. He has been on and off of the Redskins’ active roster the past few years, but managed to make the 53-man roster in 2018.
The Redskins declined to tender Harris a restricted offer this offseason and he’s now an unrestricted free agent.
In 2018, Harris appeared in 12 games for the Redskins and caught 28 passes for 304 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also rushed for 10 yards and had 11 punt return yards.
