The New England Patriots officially placed DE Caleb Kidder on waivers Tuesday.
Kidder, 24, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Montana back in May of last year. He was waived a few months and later before signing on with the Patriots right before training camp.
Unfortunately for Kidder, the Patriots waived him with an injury designation and he later reverted to the injured reserve list where he remained for the entire 2017 season.
During his college career at Montana, Kidder recorded 223 tackles, 31.5 tackles for a loss, 16 sacks, three fumble recoveries and an interception over the course of four seasons and 51 games played.
