Field Yates reports that the Patriots have waived RB Brandon Bolden and WR Riley McCarron as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.
Bolden, 28, wound up signing on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi back in 2012. He has spent all six years of his NFL career in New England.
Bolden played out one-year deal with the Patriots and re-signed to another one-year contract back in February. He was placed on the NFI list in July.
In 2017,ย Bolden appeared in 16 games for the Patriots and rushed for 67 yards on 13 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with one receptionย for seven yards receiving and no touchdowns.
