Jeff Howe of the Athletic reports that the Patriots are waiving DL Keionta Davis.
Davis, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Chattanooga back in 2017. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.7 million with the Patriots.
New England waived Davis with an injury designation during the preseason last year and he spent the year on injured reserve. The Patriots re-signed Davis to a one-year deal this past March.
In 2018, Davis appeared in six games for the Patriots and recorded six tackles.
During his four-year college career at Chattanooga, Davis recorded 132 tackles, 43 tackles for a loss, 31 sacks, eight forced fumbles, four recoveries and a blocked kick over the course of 50 games.
