According to Ian Rapoport, the Patriots are working out kickers Younghoe Koo and Josh Gable on Thursday.
This is in addition to the five kickers the Patriots worked out yesterday as they search for a replacement for Stephen Gostkowski, who was placed on injured reserve with a hip injury.
Gable, 28, spent minicamp with the Patriots back in 2017 and has a series of Youtube videos showing him making kicks as long as 80 yards. He was previously a professional soccer player overseas and has kicked in various semi-pro football leagues.
Koo, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Southern back in 2017. He was set to make a base salary of $465,000 for the 2017 season when the Chargers waived him a few weeks into the season.
In 2017, Koo appeared in four games for the Chargers and converted just three of six field goal attempts and all nine extra point tries.
