The Oakland Raiders announced Monday that they’ve officially re-signed three exclusive rights free agents including WR Marcell Ateman, K Daniel Carlson and OT Justin Murray.
Carlson, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2018. He’s was in the first year of his four-year, $2,708,012 contract when the Vikings waived him a few months in to the regular season.
The Raiders later signed Carlson to a contract and he finished out the year in Oakland.
In 2018, Carlson appeared in 12 games for the Vikings and Raiders and converted 17 of 21 field goal attempts (81 percent) to go along with all 24 extra point tries.
Ateman, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2018. He agreed to a four-year, $2.55 million contract, but was waived by the Raiders coming out of the preseason.
Oakland later signed Ateman to their practice squad after he cleared waivers before eventually promoting him to their active roster.
In 2018, Ateman appeared in seven games for the Raiders and caught 15 passes for 154 yards receiving and one touchdown.
