Raiders Sign 7 Players To Practice Squad

The Oakland Raiders announced Sunday that they’ve officially signed seven players to their practice squad including:

1. TE Paul Butler
2. S Dallin Leavitt
3. WR Saeed Blacknall
4. LB Jason Cabinda
5. FB Ryan Yurachek
6. WR Marcell Ateman
7. DT Gabe Wright

Wright, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Lions back in 2015. He lasted just over a year in Detroit before he waived at the start of the 2016 season.

The Browns later signed Wright to their practice and finished out the year in Cleveland. Wright had a brief stint with the Eagles last year before joining the Dolphins at the start of the regular season.

The Dolphins have waived Wright after he got in a fight with RB Kenyan Drake and the Raiders claimed him. Oakland did elect to cut him loose on Saturday.

In 2017, Wright appeared in one game and recorded one tackle and a pass defense.
