Raiders Sign DL Darius Latham To PS, Release Raiders WR Tevaun Smith

According to Michael Gehlken, the Raiders have signed DL Darius Latham to their practice squad and released WR Tevaun Smith from the unit.

The Raiders’ practice squad now consists of:

3. DE Fadol Brown
4. G Jordan Simmons
5. TE Pharaoh Brown
6. C James Stone
7. DB Tevin Mitchel
8. RB Elijah Hood
9. LB Brady Sheldon
10. DL Darius Latham

Latham, 23, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of back in May of last year. He’s currently in the second year of his three-year, $1.62 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

Oakland decided to waive him earlier this week after activating WR Michael Crabtree from suspension.

In 2017, Latham has appeared in one game and recorded two tackles and no sacks for the Raiders.
