The Oakland Raiders officially waived DB Demetrius McCray from injured reserve with a settlement.
McCray, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2013. He spent three years in Jacksonville before he was, unfortunately, among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
The Seahawks signed him to a future/reserve contract this past January before waiving him with an injury designation coming out of the preseason. Seattle would later cut him loose with an injury settlement.
McCray signed on with the Raiders last month but was waived with an injury designation and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list last week.
In 2017, McCray has appeared in three games for the Raiders and recorded one tackle.
