The Raiders announced Wednesday they’ve officially waived FB Ryan Yurachek with an injury designation.
Yurachek spent the 2018 season on the Raiders practice squad. The Raiders signed him to a futures deal at the beginning of 2019
Yurachek wound up going undrafted out of Marshall in 2018 before securing the tryout with the Saints. New Orleans signed him to a contract soon after before cutting him loose in June, 2018. Yurachek then caught on with the Raiders.
Yurachek was a first-team Conference USA selection during his senior year.
During his four-year college career at Marshall, Yurachek caught 143 passes for 1,354 (9.5 YPC) to go along with 26 touchdowns. He also rushed for 40 yards on three carries and no touchdowns.
