ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Rams worked out veteran receiversย Hakeem Nicks, Wes Welker, and Vincent Brown on Monday.
Nicks has generated some interest over the past few months, but it’s been much quieter for Welker.
Nicks, 27, signed a one-year contract with $100,000 guaranteed with the Titans back in April. However, he was among the team’s final roster cuts this past weekend as they got down to 53 players.
Nicks has already worked out for the Saints, Cowboys, Patriots, Giants and Ravens since he became available.
In 2014, Nicks appeared in all 16 games while with the Colts, but could only reel in 38 receptions for 405 yards and four touchdowns.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 105 receiverย out of 110 qualifying players.
Welker, 33, has worked out for the Giants and Dolphins the past several months, but neither team submitted an offer to him.
In 2014, Welker appeared in 14 games for the Broncos last year and caughtย 49 passes for 464 yards receiving and two touchdowns.ย Pro Football Focusย has him rated as the N0. 71ย receiver out of 110 qualifying players.
