The Rams announced they have placed sixth-round S Jordan Fuller on injured reserve.
#LARams transaction: We've placed DB Jordan Fuller on IR
— Los Angeles Rams (@RamsNFL) October 13, 2020
Fuller had locked up a starting job and had been playing well despite his humble draft status, so this isn’t a minor move for Los Angeles.
The rookie had been dealing with stingers in his neck. He’ll be eligible to return from IR after three games.
Fuller, 22, was drafted by the Rams in the sixth round out of Ohio State. He signed a four-year, $3.465 million deal that included $170,708 signing bonus.
In 2020, Fuller has appeared in four games for the Rams and recorded 21 tackles, no sacks or interceptions and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 9 safety out of 83 qualifying players.
