According to Lindsey Thiry, the Rams have placed S John Johnson III on their injured reserve list.
Johnson, 23, is a former third-round pick by the Rams out of Boston College in the 2017 NFL Draft. He is in the third year of his four-year, $3.25 million rookie contract.
In 2019, Johnson has appeared in six games and recorded 51 total tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 63 overall safety out of 80 qualifying players.
