Rams Promote CB Kevin Peterson From Practice Squad

According to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN, the Rams have promoted CB Kevin Peterson from their practice squad to the active roster.

Peterson, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Oklahoma State in May of 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Bears’ practice squad at the start of the 2016 season.

The Rams signed him to a future/reserve contract in 2017 and he’s been on and off of their active roster since. Peterson missed the 2018 season with a knee injury suffered in August.

In 2017, Peterson appeared in six games for the Rams, recording 11 total tackles, two interceptions and six passes defensed.
