The St. Louis Rams have promoted S Christian Bryant to their active roster on Friday and waived CB Brandon McGee in a corresponding move, according to Howard Balzer.
- The Rams also signed CB Eric Patterson to their practice squad.
Bryant, 23, is a former seventh round pick of the Rams back in May of last year. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year, but wound up being added to their practice squad.
St. Louis elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract in December of last year, but he was once again added to their practice squad following roster cuts.
Bryant has yet to appear in an NFL game.
McGee, 24, was taken by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He was unfortunately among the team’s roster cuts close to a month ago, but was later signed to their active roster.
Last year, McGee appeared in two games for St. Louis and recorded four tackles.
