Fox, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State-Pueblo back in 2016. He was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
The Rams later signed Fox to their practice squad and eventually promoted to their active roster.
In 2019, Fox appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded 16 tackles and two sacks.
Smart, 25, was a sixth-round pick out of Tulane back in 2017. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $2.56 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $735,000 for the 2020 season.
In 2019, Smart appeared in 13 games for the Rams and recorded seven tackles.
