Rams Release DL Ryan Davis, Sign OL Evan Boehm To PS

The Los Angeles Rams announced Tuesday that they’ve released DL Ryan Davis with an injury settlement and signed OL Evan Boehm to their practice squad.

The Rams’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DB Dominique Hatfield
  2. TE Temarrick Hemingway
  3. WR Khadarel Hodge
  4. G Jeremiah Kolone
  5. TE Henry Krieger-Coble
  6. WR Steven Mitchell
  7. DB Steven Parker
  8. QB Luis Perez
  9. DB Ramon Richards
  10. OL Evan Boehm

Davis, 29, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Bethune-Cookman back in 2012. He was on an off of their practice squad before making the 53-man roster in 2014.

Davis returned to the Jaguars on a one-year restricted tender for the 2016 season. He signed a two-year, $2.2 million contract with the Bills last year and he was set to make a base salary of $1.125 million for the 2018 season when Buffalo released him back in March.

The Rams later signed Davis to a contract in July only to cut him loose last weekend.

In 2017, Davis appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and recorded 26 tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 74 edge defender out of 106 qualifying players.
