According to Greg Klein, the Rams waived S Isaiah Johnson from their active roster and signed OL Darrell Williams to their practice squad.
The Rams’ practice squad now consists of:
- DB Dominique Hatfield
- TE Temarrick Hemingway
- WR Khadarel Hodge
- TE Henry Krieger-Coble
- WR Steven Mitchell
- DB Steven Parker
- QB Luis Perez
- DB Ramon Richards
- OLÂ Evan Boehm
- C Aaron Neary
- DL Darrell Williams
Johnson, 26, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech back in 2015. He was waived coming out of the preseason before signing on to the Lions’ practice squad.
The Rams later signed him to their taxi squad at the start of the 2016 season after Detroit once again cut him loose. He was on and off of the Rams’ active roster last year before being cut loose earlier this month.
Los Angeles signed him, once again, shortly after releasing him.
In 2017, Johnson appeared in one game and recorded six tackles and no interceptions.
