Free agent P Brock Miller announced via his Twitter that he worked out for the Rams on Friday.
Thankful for the opportunity today to help the @RamsNFL and their returners prepare for the Super Bowl. #FreeAgent #Lefty

It’s worth mentioning that Miller is a left-footed punter and has tried out for several teams over the past few years. Teams will bring in left-punters to allow their returners a chance to get used to fielding punts with a different spin on them before their upcoming game.
Miller, 27, wound up going undrafted out of Southern Utah back in 2014. He took part in rookie minicamps with the Colts and Raiders.
The 49ers later signed Miller to a futures contract a few years ago, but cut him loose shortly after the 2017 draft. Miller eventually signed on to the Giants’ practice squad in December and was on and off of the unit over the next few weeks.
During his college career at Southern Utah, Miller totaled 7,055 punt yards on 164 attempts (43.02 YPA). He also kicked field goals for Southern Utah during his freshman year and was 12 of 17 and made 27 of 28 extra-point tries.
