According to Jeff Zrebiec, the Ravens are considering bringing back LB Pernell McPhee.
The Ravens are still looking for some pass rush help after losing Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith in free agency, so signing McPhee could be a potential solution.
McPhee, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2011. He spent four years in Baltimore before signing a five-year, $38.75 million contract that included $15.5 million guaranteed back in 2015.
McPhee was set to make base salaries of $7.2 million and $7.625 million over the next two years when the Bears released him this offseason in a move that freed up $7,075,000 of available cap space.
McPhee signed with the Redskins on a one-year, $1.8 million deal for the 2018 season.
In 2018, McPhee appeared in 13 games for the Redskins and recorded 13 tackles, three tackles for loss, no sacks, a fumble recovery and two pass defenses.
