The Baltimore Ravens will have a number of key free agents to address during the offseason. In fact, they have five players listed in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
Last year the Ravens locked up G Marshal Yanda but this season they have another Pro Bowl G to deal with in Ben Grubbs. The problem for Baltimore is that they may have pay Grubbs a larger salary than what they gave to Yanda last year and knows that this could get ”a little complicated.”
“I have a lot of faith and trust that something good will happen no matter what,” said Grubbs, “but I know it’s a business.”
There will certainly be plenty of interest in the interior lineman but the Ravens would be allocating a lot of money to their interior offensive line despite having issues at tackle. It really doesn’t make a ton of sense to invest heavily in two guards when that both can be used to bring in some that can help to solidify the edge. I’d expect to see the Ravens move on despite the caliber of that Grubbs is.
