The Baltimore Ravens officially promoted C Trystan Colon-Castillo and DB Marcus Gilchrist to their active roster on Saturday.
Both players will revert back to the team’s practice squad on Monday.
Gilchrist, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Chargers back in 2011. After four years with the Chargers, Gilchrist signed a four-year, $22 million contract with $8.5 million guaranteed with the Jets in 2015.
From there, Gilchrist played for the Jets, Texans, Raiders, and Lions before the Jaguars signed him to a contract. Jacksonville later elected to waive him at the end of 2019 and signed on to the Ravens’ practices squad a few weeks ago.
In 2019, Gilchrist appeared in three games for the Jaguars and recorded two tackles.
