Baltimore was scheduled to bring in Kearse for a visit this week, so they are clearly eager to get him under contract. (Aaron Wilson)

The Ravens’ practice squad will now include:

  1. LB Aaron Adeoye
  2. DT Aaron Crawford
  3. QB Tyler Huntley
  4. WR Jaylon Moore
  5. LS Nick Moore
  6. DE Chauncey Rivers
  7. DB Nigel Warrior
  8. RB Ty’Son Williams
  9. TE Eli Wolf
  10. TE Sean Culkin (Injured)
  11. DB Nate Brooks
  12. T R.J. Prince
  13. DB Pierre Desir
  14. G Parker Ehinger
  15. DT Braxton Hoyett
  16. LB James Crawford
  17. DB Jayron Kearse

Kearse, 26, was drafted by the Vikings in the seventh round out of Clemson in 2017. He played out his four-year, $2.4 million rookie deal and made a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.

The Lions signed Kearse to a one-year, $2.75 million deal back in March but was suspended for the first three weeks of the season after violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.

Detroit elected to cut Kearse loose earlier this week.

In 2020, Kearse has appeared in 11 games and recorded 58 total tackles, no interceptions, two pass defenses, and one forced fumble.
