The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a deal with former Rams DT Michael Brockers, according to Mike Garafolo.
Ian Rapoport reports that Brockers receives a three-year, $30 million contract from the Ravens.
The Rams were reportedly trying to re-sign Brockers, but it appears as though the Ravens proved to be his best option in the end.
Brockers, 29, is a former first-round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He was in the final year of his four-year, $9.522 million rookie contract when the Rams picked up his fifth-year option.
From there, Brockers agreed to a three-year extension worth over $33 million and includes more than $16 million guaranteed. He’s now in line to be an unrestricted free agent.
In 2019, Brockers appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded 63 tackles, three sacks and a pass defense.
We had Brockers included in our Top 100 – 2020 Free Agents list.
