According to Ian Rapoport, the Ravens are working out free agent QB Josh Johnson.
With Robert Griffin‘s injury, the Ravens only have two healthy quarterbacks on their 90-man roster and are in need of another.
Johnson has some experience with the Ravens and OC Greg Roman, spending the 2016 preseason in Baltimore and crossing paths with Roman in San Francisco.
Johnson, 32, is a former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2012. Since then, Johnson has played for a number of teams including the 49ers, Browns, Bengals, Chargers, Jets, Colts, Bills, Ravens and Giants before catching on with Texans last season and finishing out the year in Houston.
The Raiders signed Johnson to a contract this past March only to cut him loose a few weeks after last year’s draft.
Johnson was selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football before signing on with the Redskins in December.
In 2018, Johnson appeared in four games for the Redskins and completed 57.1 percent of his passes for 590 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions. He also rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown.
