Redskins Signing CB Greg Toler To A One-Year, $840K Deal

Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that the Redskins are expected to sign veteran CB Greg Toler to a contract.

  • Aaron Wilson reports that Toler receives a one-year deal worth $840,000, which includes an $80,000 bonus.

The Redskins brought Toler in for a visit on Wednesday. He previously met with the Dolphins, but it appears as though Washington wound up being his best opportunity.

Toler, 31, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2009. He spent three years in Arizona before signing on with the Colts in 2013.

Toler is currently testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Toler appeared in 10 games for the Colts and recorded 51 tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and 10 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 106 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.

We had him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
