Chris Russell reports that the Washington Redskins have placed WR Leonard Hankerson on season-ending injured reserve after he torn labrum in his hip during yesterday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Hankerson figured to see plenty of action throughout the remainder of the season as the Redskins are already in mid-season rebuilding mode. Without him, Washington has very limited options at the position as Santana Moss is still recovering from an injury of his own and is expected to be out again next week. Another terrible season for the Redskins just keeps getting worse.
