The Washington Redskins waived FB Jordan Campbell from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Thursday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Campbell, 27, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico Highlands back in May of 2013. He lasted just a few months in Cincinnati before he was cut loose at the start of the regular season.
The Chiefs later signed him to a contract before he joined the Redskins on a future/reserve deal back in January. Washington wound up waiving him with the injury designation a few weeks ago before later reverting to the injured reserve list after clearing waivers.
Campbell has yet to appear in an NFL game.
