The Washington Redskins officially signed RB LeShun Daniels and DB Orion Stewart to their practice squad on Wednesday.
The Redskins’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Robert Davis
- TE Manasseh Garner
- LB Pete Robertson
- S Fish Smithson
- OL Anthony Fabiano
- NT Ondre Pipkins
- WR Keenan Reynolds
- LB Otha Peters
- RB LeShun Daniels
- DB Orion Stewart
Daniels, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Patriots cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Daniels had a brief stint with the Chargers on their practice squad.
During his college career at Iowa, Daniels rushed for 1,895 yards on 409 carries (4.6 YPC) to go along with 10 receptions for 81 yards receiving and 19 total touchdowns over the course of 37 games.
