The Washington Redskins announced Wednesday that they’ve signed TE Jerome Cunningham.
Cunningham, 27, originally signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Connecticut Stat back in 2014. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster that year, but was later added to the Giants practice squad.
Cunningham had stints with the Jets and Titans before signing on with the Lions last year. He was on and off of their active roster before eventually being released last month.
In 2015, Cunningham appeared nine games and recorded eight catches for 59 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
