The Washington Redskins officially waived LB Alex McCalister from injured reserve with a settlement on Monday.
McCalister, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Eagles back in 2016. He spent over a year in Philadelphia before he was released from their practice squad last October and later signed by the Redskins.
Washington brought McCalister back on a futures contract this past January but waived him with an injury designation last week. After clearing waivers, McCalister reverted to their injured reserve list.
McCalister has yet to appear in an NFL game.
