Redskins Waive WR Brian Quick

The Washinton Redskins announced Saturday that they’ve waived WR Brian Quick to make room for RB Byron Marshall.

Quick, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the team and re-signed with Los Angeles to a one-year, $3.75 million deal.

After finishing his one-year deal, Quick signed on with the Redskins to another one-year contract last offseason. The Redskins re-signed him this past March only to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

Quick returned to Washington a few days later.

In 2018, Quick has appeared in six games and caught three passes for 18 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
