According to TMZ Sports, Cardinals first-round LB Zaven Collins was arrested Sunday night for reckless driving.
TMZ says that Collins was stopped by police for speeding and driving dangerously. A jail official tells TMZ that Collins was booked Sunday night and released a short time later.
Collins, 21, was a three-year starter at Tulsa and was the AAC Defensive Player of the Year as a redshirt junior. The Cardinals drafted Collins with pick No. 16 overall.
Collins signed a projected a four-year, $14,690,256 contract with the Cardinals, that includes an $8,043,822 signing bonus, earlier this month.
During his college career at Tulsa, Collins recorded 236 tackles, 7.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three recoveries, five interceptions, eight pass deflections and two defensive touchdowns over the course of three seasons and 32 games.
