Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Miami Dolphins have continued their offseason splurge by agreeing to terms with free agent LB Phillip Wheeler.
PFT adds that Wheeler receives a five year deal worth $26 million and includes $13 fully guaranteed.
Miami have already signed Dannell Ellerbe, so they clearly wanted to upgrade the linebacker position.
Wheeler, 28, played great for a bad defense and has earned this kind of pay raise. This could be a great signing for the Dolphins.
