ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that former Chiefs OT Branden Albert has reached an agreement with the Miami Dolphins on a 5-year $46 million deal, with $25 million guaranteed.
This news does not come as a surprise, as the Dolphins pursued Albert right from the start of the so-called “legal tampering” period beginning March 8th.
Albert, 29, will protect the blindside of young QB Ryan Tannehill. Considering the high amount of guaranteed money, Miami clearly values the Virginia product.
