Report: Eagles Hire Billy Davis As Defensive Coordinator

Geoff Mosher reports that a source has informed him that the Eagles have hired Billy Davis as their next defensive coordinator.

Davis spent the past two season with the Cleveland Browns as their linebackers coach. He has also worked as a defensive coordinator for the Cardinals and 49ers in the past and has experience running both 4-3 and 3-4 base defenses, but it’s pretty clear that the Eagles will implement a 3-4 scheme this year.
