- Ian Rapoport reports that Carlson will makeย $4.65 million over two years.

Arizona could use some extra depth at position that they have gotten very little from in recent years.
Carlson, 29,ย totaled 32 receptions forย 344 yards receiving and a touchdown over the course of 13 games for the Vikings last season.

The Vikings officially announced his release Wednesday night, so Carlson is wasting no time trying to find his next team. He has a small window of time to get ahead of other free agent tight ends who won’t be able to meet with prospective teams until this weekend.
