ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals have signed former Vikings TE John Carlson a two-year deal.
- Ian Rapoport reports that Carlson will make $4.65 million over two years.
- Ken Somers reported that the Arizona Cardinals are working on contract with free agent TE John Carlson.
Arizona could use some extra depth at position that they have gotten very little from in recent years.
Carlson, 29, totaled 32 receptions for 344 yards receiving and a touchdown over the course of 13 games for the Vikings last season.

Kent Somers reports that former Vikings TE John Carlson is visiting with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday.
The Vikings officially announced his release Wednesday night, so Carlson is wasting no time trying to find his next team. He has a small window of time to get ahead of other free agent tight ends who won’t be able to meet with prospective teams until this weekend.
