Report: Mike Wallace To The Dolphins A “Done Deal”

Ben Volin of theย Palm Beach Postย reports that a person he trusts has mentioned that Mike Wallace to Dolphins is aย “done deal.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets thatย โ€œleague-wide expectation is that WR Mike Wallace winds up in Miami with the Dolphins.โ€

Schefter also mentioned on this morning’s SportCenter thatย Wallace figures to be the only player to secure more $10 million annually.

Mike Garafolo of USA Todayย reported on Sunday night that Miami spent the weekend “courting” Wallace and Brandon Gibson.

Wallace, 26, is believed to be seeking as much as $12 – $13 million annually in his next contract. Ian Rapoport tweets he’s hearing Wallace could end up with a five-year deal worth $60 million.

At this point, it really looks like the Dolphins are alone in the driver seat for Wallace.

We have him listed as the No. 1 best available player in ourย Top 50 Free Agentsย list.
